Socrative as a Formative Assessment Tool in English for Specific Purposes Course

Many factors influence the development of educational system, and today it is a global COVID-19 pandemic. Stakeholders in process need to adjust new distant reality without compromising quality. The formative assessment proved be suitable approach overcome existing challenges, one most popular tools facilitate Socrative. study aims 1) investigate student attitudes correlation between academic achievements ESP majors 2) present our experience utilizing Socrative for mode settings National Technical University Ukraine “Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute.” To achieve goals study, we have developed validated questionnaire, collected quantitative data, analyzed interpreted qualitative data; sample included 137 students. obtained results shown general positive attitude towards usage within course due its efficacy, personalization, responsiveness. can perspective further investigation despite some limitations
